Equefest 96, held at the Botanical Gardens and featuring top local as well as international riders, raised the money for The Council Partners Charitable Trust, the Bermuda Equestrian Federation and Riding for the Disabled.

Yesterday the Council Partners and the Equestrian Federation each received $20,000 and Riding for the Disabled was given $2,000.

Patricia Haycock, Equefest chairman, said: "We are so pleased to support these three wonderful organisations that benefit Bermuda in their own unqiue ways.''
