Spence, 30, of Union Street, Pembroke, with his back to them holding a bottle.

The bottle was tested and traces of crack cocaine were found.

Spence, meanwhile, will return to court on July 29 on a separate charge of unlawfully obtaining money, to which he had pleaded not guilty.

Mr. Francis set bail at $1,500 with a like surety.
