for allegedly possessing cocaine last year pleaded not guilty in Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Swain Lightbourne denied cocaine possession, obstructing a Police officer, violently resisting arrest, wilfully and unlawfully destroying a shirt and using offensive words.

The charges against Lightbourne, who was released on $1,000 bail, stem from an incident on Ord Road, Warwick on November 10.

The case goes to trial on July 18.

In a separate matter, Lightbourne's trial on a previous cocaine possession charge was adjourned until May 26.
