PLP plan heritage walks

The first, to be led by Mr. Dale Butler, will take place in the North Hamilton area.

"Sights to be highlighted include Dr. E.F. Gordon's residence, the Sunshine League, Barker's Hill, Colonial Opera House and the PLP headquarters, historic Alaska Hall, just to name a few,'' a spokesperson said. It will start at 4 p.m. at St. Paul's AME Church on Victoria and Court Streets.

"The second walk will commence at 3 p.m. at the Bassett's Mineral Water Factory building on Marsh Folly Road,'' the spokesman added. "It will be led by poet and historian Mrs. Joy Wilson Tucker and will encompass the North Shore area.''
