George's student told Police she had been sexually assaulted by three male students on September 29 during a lunch break on school grounds.

"As a result of the thorough investigation carried out by our St. George's detectives, we have found that this allegation was completely false and all made up by the young lady,'' Insp. Jones said.

"There was a tremendous amount of time and effort put into this investigation, not to mention the humiliation and inconveniences cause to the three young men, their families and the school involved.'' In light of the circumstances, she added, the 14-year-old female will be appearing in court at a later date to face charges relating to wasting Police time and making a false report of crime.
