Championships have new goals to aim for.

Bermuda Track and Field Association yesterday released revised standards for the biggest meet of the year from June 26-28 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Developed by BTFA vice president Bob Oliver and a small committee that includes national track and field coach Gerry Swan, they largely reflect distances and times that would have resulted in "respectable'' finishes at the previous CAC senior championships two years ago.
The idea is to set marks that ensure athletes won't embarrass Bermuda but at the same time provide a reasonable goal for them, Oliver said.
