On the steps of the Cabinet Building yesterday, Education Minister Jerome Dill officially declared the 13th annual Education Month underway.

And under watchful eyes of dozens of preschoolers, he announced that the theme for this annual February event will be "Tourism: We Are Bermuda''.

"It is out intent to promote an understanding of appreciation for the part each of us play in the success of this industry,'' Mr. Dill said. "I have been informed of, and indeed hope to see the number of displays and projects in our schools which portray the intention to promote understanding and appreciation for the lives and work of all Bermudians.'' Over the years, schools have focused on different areas of community interest during Education Month.
