BIBA chairman Glenn Titterton said: "Anticipated future developments in the area of intellectual property are receiving a lot of current attention, both by Government and the private sector.
"In particular, we are interested in what Bermuda's future role may be and whether there are genuine opportunities for the development of new business in this broad area.
"It is clear that as a leading edge jurisdiction, Bermuda must be able to respond promptly to new developments in the rapidly changing environment of international business.'' Mr. Titterton said the members of BIBA are delighted to have a guest speaker who is a Bermudian with considerable expertise in this area.
He said: "Duncan Card will discuss the complex legal issues surrounding this issue and some of the steps that Bermuda should be contemplating.'' BUSINESS BUC
