The voyage marked the 27th of the season for the Royal Caribbean Cruise liner which will now switch to its winter schedule, said a Meyer Agencies spokesman.

The Song of America arrived on Tuesday with 1,440 passengers on board. It is scheduled to depart tomorrow.

Meanwhile the Island also hosted the Silver Cloud which arrived last Thursday from New York with 271 passengers on board. The vessel berthed in Hamilton overnight and left Friday for the British Virgin Islands.

A John S. Darrell spokesman reported that the Queen Elizabeth II arrived on Sunday with 1,637 passengers on board and anchored in the Great Sound. It left later that day for St. Thomas.

And the Crystal Harmony arrived on Monday and berthed at King's Wharf in Dockyard with 920 people on board.

In other shipping news, a Meyer Agencies spokesman reported that the tug Navigator and Barge Number 250 are set to arrive tomorrow at the ESSO oil docks where they will off load fuel for ESSO and Shell.

The container vessel Somers Isles arrived from Fernandina Beach, Florida, on Sunday with 109 containers including 12 refrigerated units.

The vessel also off loaded a Mercedes-Benz car and some loose lumber and steel before departing on Monday.

The Bermuda Islander arrived Monday morning and off loaded 87 containers including 13 refrigerated containers plus a boat before sailing that afternoon.

The Oleander arrived Sunday with 28 refers and 152 dry containers. It also off loaded structural steel, two boats and six cars before departing on Tuesday.

And the motor yacht Lone Ranger left the Island on Tuesday after a five-week visit for Baltimore, Maryland. The 255-foot converted ocean-going tug is due to go into dry dock.
