Griffiths' brace sinks Bluebirds Women's League
Swallows came out quickly in the first-half and were rewarded with an early goal from Denise Donovan.
They continued to attack the Bluebirds and the pressure paid off when a second goal came courtesy of Cath Griffiths.
Their third was again scored by Griffiths, this time from a quickly taken free-hit.
Bluebirds did have some chances, the most notable being a penalty stroke which produced a fine save from Swallows goalkeeper, Nicola Wilkinson.
There were no further goals in the second-half.
Swallows' defence held firm with Anisa Paci putting in a solid performance.

Both teams then had chances to put scores on the board but sound defensive play saw the half finish 1-0.
Bluebirds mounted several attacks in the second period but solid defending, in particular from captain Jenny Burrell - who was returning from injury -- and a great save by Cath Griffiths prevented them from equalising.
Cardinals A 1 Swifts A 0 Cardinals went ahead in the ninth minute through Kerri Graham who scored after a fine 25 yard run from Laura Bargett.
The young Swifts were missing several of their key players.
But despite this setback they put in a great team performance to prevent any further scoring by the Cardinals.
Cardinals B 1 Swifts B 1 In a closely fought match, both teams had their chances, but the deadlock was broken in the final minute when Erica Smith of Swifts found the back of the net from a penalty corner.
If they thought they had won then Swifts were sorely mistaken, Cathy Hertenstein scoring the equaliser in the dying seconds.
Orioles B 1 Canaries B 0 Orioles got the only score of the game in the second-half.

Men's League Rebels 3 Wasps 2 In his final match for Rebels, Donny Moniz put his side ahead with a perfectly timed goal.
Three minutes later David Gutteridge added a second.
Wasps rallied in the second-half, Donald Madeiros scoring from a penalty corner and Richard Adlam levelling from the spot.
But the good work was undone when Gutteridge scored his second of the game to seal victory for the Rebels.
BCS Panthers 0 Upstarts 1 In a frantic game the young Panthers, missing several regulars, managed to hold Upstarts in the first-half.
They withstood everything their opponents threw at them until the final seconds, when Upstarts' Neil Carroll hit home a bullet of a shot from the top of the circle.
