admitting possessing cannabis.

The court heard Police found 0.38 grams of cannabis on Michael Daniels, of 35 Tribe Road No. 1, after questioning him in December about an offensive behaviour complaint made by a member of the Ord Road, Spring Hill Against Drugs group.

Sgt. Peter Giles, prosecuting, said a manila envelope containing the drugs fell out of Daniels' T-shirt as he removed it.

Daniels was fined $150 and ordered to return to court on September 15 for a trial on the offensive word charge.

He was released on $500 bail by magistrate the Wor. John Judge.
