Ernst & Young chartered accountant David Reid has been granted the chartered business valuator (CBV) designation from the Canadian Institute of Chartered

The CICBV, the largest professional valuation organisation in Canada, was established to promote high standards in business and securities valuations.

The Institute membership of some 700 provide business valuation services and has a code of ethics, while issuing valuation practice standards and disciplinary procedures.

Mr. Reid joined the Bermuda practice of Ernst & Young in 1994 and is a senior manager in the business advisory services group.

David Reid
