stone's throw from the town of St. George. It is said Nea, the lover of poet, Tom Moore, strolled along these narrow lanes.

Old Maid: This ancient lane is beside Nea's Alley and leads down into the main street of St. George's, The Duke of York Street. Stockdale House: This was the home of Joseph Stockdale, Bermuda's first newspaper publisher. On January 17, 1774 he printed the first copy of the Bermuda Gazette and Weekly Advertiser .
