Bermuda is set to meet with Government tomorrow.
Animal-lover Tracy Harris secured an appointment with Environment Minister Arthur Hodgson after gathering hundreds of signatures on petitions she sent out last week.
The petitions called for improving conditions for Government dog care, increasing the number of dog wardens and putting an end to dog fighting.
Miss Harris said: "I definitely won't stop until something's done. I don't just want the Minister to say we'll talk about it. I hope that once he sees the ideas and suggestions he would act on it.'' Over half the 423 people who have signed the petition to date offered suggestions and comments on solving the Island's dog problems.
