Spokesperson Evelyn James Barnett said a 23-year-old Warwick man was awaken from his sleep around 2 a.m. on Wednesday to discover a woman rummaging through his belongings.
The man said he told the woman to leave, but later awoke to find his girlfriend's black wallet missing from the South Road residence.
The intruder was described as a dark-skinned, female with a black short Afro, six feet in height and of medium build, weighing approximately 150 pounds.
Mrs. James Barnett said the woman was wearing a green sweater and jeans and spoke with a Bermudian accent.
Meanwhile, a Spring Hill resident said she returned home on Tuesday, during the lunch hour, and found her back door open and a glass pane broken. Someone had also taken several cans containing loose change.
