Hamilton traffic subject of meeting
place tonight.
Corporation of Hamilton secretary Roger Sherratt said: "This is really the last chance for the public to make comments before the final report is completed.
"We have taken a lot of suggestions from the public and a range of proposals will be discussed.'' The meeting -- in the Anglican Cathedral Church Hall, Hamilton -- starts at 7.30 p.m. tonight.
Mr. Sherratt added that vital cable-laying work by BELCO will cause some disruption to traffic on Front Street over the next two weeks.
Work will take place at two spots -- between Court Street and Supermart and outside the Number 1 car park.
Mr. Sherratt said: "We want to advise people to drive carefully -- it's work which has to be undertaken, but we apologise for any inconvenience it may cause.''
