Timmy Figureido of Vasco and Dwayne (Streaker) Adams of North Village will carry a big responsibility as they attempt to keep their teams alive in the double-elimination tournament after both teams suffered 1-0 defeats on Tuesday night at Somerset.

Now one of them will be eliminated while the other advances to the semi-final next Tuesday at St. John's Field. For all their pressure, Village could not find the net against Wolves who marked their debut in the tournament with a hard-fought victory.

Vasco, who were also beaten 1-0 when Heys Wolffe scored Dandy Town's winner, will welcome back former North Village defender Kentoine Jennings for their crunch match with the Red Devils. When these two teams met recently in the league, Vasco came out comfortable 3-1 winners. So Village, who also lost to Vasco in the first match of last year's Dudley Eve, will be gunning for revenge.

The 12.30 opener will produce the first team for the two leg final as Wolves and Town seek their second straight victory. Whoever gets it will also earn the right to have a five-day break before the first leg final on New Year's Day.
