As mentioned earlier, his story, "A Bermudaful Christmas'' was the only adult honourable mention awarded by the Royal Gazette judges.

Mr. Richardson is taking an English course and plans to continue with his education and writing endeavours for the next eight years, the duration of his sentence.

"I am trying to achieve something positive with my time.

"I sat down and wrote the Christmas story only two days prior to the deadline after I read about it in The Royal Gazette ,'' he said.
