Car ship makes whirlwind visit
The Kentucky Highway spent only three hours offloading cars and 18 cases of spare parts before departing for Nassau, Bahamas.
This week's Oleander shipment included 159 dry and 58 refrigerated containers, six road trailers of structured steel, one car and one truck.
On board the Somers Isles were a total of 87 dry and 12 refrigerated containers, two Mack trucks, and numerous bundles of steel and lumber.
And the Bermuda Islander brought in 93 dry and 22 refrigerated containers, and two temporary classrooms for the Dellwood Primary School.
The summer cruise season continued with the Zenith and Norwegian Crown both arriving on Monday and leaving today. The ships carried 1,638 and 1,240 passengers respectively.
And the Song of America , Norwegian Majesty , and Horizon entered Bermuda waters throughout the day on Tuesday.
Horizon led the way with 1,614 passengers, with the Song of America a close second with 1,529 passengers. The Norwegian Majesty carried 1,178 visitors.
All the ships depart tomorrow.
Two Tunisian warships, the Tabarka and Turgueness , left Dockyard on Monday after enjoying a week of Island rest and relaxation.
