suffered a fractured skull after reportedly being attacked by a gang.

The 22-year-old man also received facial injuries in the Court Street fight.

Trouble is believed to have erupted following an earlier dispute between the man and the gang. Police yesterday interviewed the victim in hospital.

The incident is said by Police to have occurred on Tuesday night outside the Swinging Doors bar.

Yesterday, however, the bar's management were unable to throw much light on the disturbance.

Police said an 18-year-old Pembroke man had been arrested over the incident.
