will highlight the plight of six people who have "disappeared,'' the group announced.
Chairman Ms Clare Hatcher said political killings and disappearances pose "the greatest threat to human rights in the 1990s''.
In an eight-month campaign, Amnesty International was focusing on 20 such cases, and the Bermuda Section on six, she said.
Mr. Rod Attride-Stirling, chairman of the campaign committee, said the Bermuda Section would send petitions and letters to Governments involved with the six cases.
The letters would be available for signing every Friday at lunchtime at a table in the Walkway opposite The Body Shop. There would also be public meetings and guest speakers.
