two planned sporting events yesterday, resulting in both being delayed 24 hours.
First victim was the Bermuda Junior Golf Association's Fecchio Cup, which had it's second round abandoned as competitors started on their quest but were repelled by a fierce afternoon downpour.
Thus the round was postponed until today, with the third and final round now set for Friday.
What was supposed to be the first round of the Bermuda Football Association's Dudley Eve Trophy likewise had to be rescheduled because of inclement conditions.
Tonight has now been set as the date for the two matches, with North Village tackling Southampton in the 7.00 p.m. opener at BAA Field, to be followed by Vasco versus Dandy Town at 9.00 p.m.
