Shore Road yesterday.

Police were releasing sketchy details last night, but just before 2 p.m. a white Mazda car and a truck collided near Jeffrey and Sons.

The car's occupants were trapped inside and had to be released by the Fire Service. One person was injured, but the extent of the injuries are not known, and was taken to the King Edward VII Hospital.

No names or ages of the people involved were available last night. Fifteen minutes after the accident a Mitsubishi Lancer and a Volkswagen also collided in the same place.
