College-level courses will start the week of August 30 and run through the week of October 18.

The courses, worth three semester credit hours, may be transferred to other US schools. Certificate, associate's and bachelor's degree programmes are available.

The University of Maryland will be offering Introduction to Writing, Business Law II -- both lasting 16 weeks -- and Biological Basics of Behaviour, and Life in the Oceans -- both for eight weeks.

City Colleges of Chicago will be offering Principles of Management, Introduction to Data Processing, English Composition I, Intermediate Algebra, and Social Science General Course.

They will also offer History of the American People from 1865 to Present, History of Architecture, Painting and Sculpture, with some emphasis on Bermudian Architecture -- all for eight weeks.

Introduction to Finance and Fundamentals of Accounting I will be offered for 14 weeks.
