Producer Ms Pat Pogson said the Ministry was looking for people who could sing, dance or act. People with artistic ability to work behind the scenes were also needed, she said. There is no age limit.

The show is every Thursday in July. The first meeting is on May 27 at 6 p.m., at Black Box Performance Workshop on Court Street, opposite St. Paul's Church.

Ms Pogson said about 30 people were needed.

This year's production is called My Children, My Children, by youth writers Mr. Jah Simmons and Mr. Nadonja Bailey, along with Ms Pogson.

It is about a day of absence for parents, during which children are left to run the home and the country. It will feature the cast of Mystical Island, a new children's theatre concept at Black Box.
