cyclist laying unconscious in the road early yesterday morning.

Police spokesman Sgt. Chris Wilcox said Police received reports of an unconscious man laying on Middle Road in Southampton near the junction of Church Road around 4 a.m.

When they arrived, the 35-year-old Southampton man's motorcycle -- licence AA148 -- was laying nearby.

The man, of Seymour Farm Road, was conveyed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where he was listed in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit.
