Hubbard keep up the pace in France
rider in France, placing seventh overall in the Grand Prix Caussols in the South of France on Sunday and seventh in a 50km evening race on Tuesday as part of the Bastille Day celebrations.
In Sunday's race Hubbard was 16th amongst 105 starters in the 13km time trial and 10th in the 100km road race for an overall position of seventh. Again he was the second finisher for the Monaco team in only his second race form.
Hubbard has been invited to try out for them this season.
In the Bastille Day race called the Nocturn of Antibes the young Bermuda was seventh in the 35 lap, 50km race amongst 60 starters. The race was held in a real festival atmosphere.
The next event for Hubbard is a four-day stage race from July 21-24 known as the Tour de Gare in the Nice region. The event will involve an individual time trial, team time trial and four road races. Hubbard will ride with his club Jolly Club 88.
