Man admits drugs charge
possessing a pipe intended for drug use.
Richard Michael Dill, 25, of Hog Bay Level admitted the charge to Magistrate the Wor. Charles-etta Simmons, saying that he had a problem and wanted help.
Insp. Peter Duffy, prosecuting, said that on August 20, Dill was arrested in Somerset on a non-related matter.
At Somerset Police station, a clear plastic bottle was found on the back seat of the Police car. Dill told Police: "The bottle belongs to me. I must have forgotten and it must have fallen out of my pocket.'' Analysts later found traces of cocaine on the bottle.
Ms Simmons ordered the social inquiry report, told Dill to seek help at Addiction Services and released him on $250 bail.
The trial was set down for January 6.
Duty counsel Mr. Wilhelm Bourne represented Dill.
