Purvis Primary students hear CADA's message
and prevention in a very special way.
The students were able to take part in a performing arts workshop, presented by the Centre for Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention (CADA), where they learned about the effects of alcohol on the family and their community.
"The opportunity to participate in these workshops is one we did not want to miss,'' said school counsellor Barbara Hollis.
"This has been a wonderful experience for our children,'' Principal Carol Stoneham said. "CADA used a creative way of delivering the message on the effects of alcohol on the family and individual.'' CADA's mission is to build a stronger, healthier Bermuda by providing access to resources and services that prevent alcohol, tobacco and other drug problems.
This performing arts workshop is only one of many that CADA has presented over the year on addiction and hopes to have many more.
