Track and Field Championships next Wednesday and Thursday at the National Stadium.

Traditionally the championships have been one of the major spectacles on the school sports calendar.

Four new records were established during last year's events and more outstanding showings are expected this year, according to BSSF administrator Clint Smith.

Smith also predicted a downturn in the domination by Berkeley Institute, which won five of the six age group categories.

With a strong crowd expected at the stadium, the eastern section has been reserved for school children only, while seating for the general public will be on the western side.
