Customs combined with Police narcotics officers to search a United Parcel Service plane, after pilots discovered a small parcel of drugs hidden in the cargo hold. The Police spokesman said an investigation into the incident was on-going. The package fell out after pilots opened the cargo doors, shortly after the plane arrived at 11.15 a.m. on its daily trip from Newark.

UPS employees immediately alerted Customs staff, who called in Police to conduct a full search of the plane, which revealed nothing.
