Bootsie is putting on two pre-Mother's Day shows at the Palm Reef Hotel tomorrow night.

In addition to a series of skits on issues ranging from crime to parenting, he will also debut his calypso song "Why Bermudians Drink''.

And if that does not have the audience in stitches, Bootsie expects that his guests -- visiting ventriloquist Pete Michaels with Woody D. and comedian J.B.

Smoove -- will.

Both Michaels and Smoove have performed on the Island before. Bootsie recalled that Michaels received a standing ovation at Marriott Castle Harbour three months ago.

"They will not want to miss this show,'' he said, adding that seating was limited to 200 per show and tickets were selling fast.

Tickets for the shows -- at 8 p.m. and 10.30 p.m. -- can be purchased at 27th Century Boutique. They are $25. Emcee for the night will be Jahrisno Simmons.
