Theo overwhelmed with rabbit offers
off by vicious dogs, touched the hearts of Bermudians this week.
They flooded the Devonshire family with offers to replace the dwarf rabbit.
And one family friend, Mr. Glenn Iris, visited their house with a large rabbit, which Theo immediately called "Big T''.
Mrs. Beverley-Ann Augustus said "Big T'' would be donated to the science department of Dellwood Primary School, where Theo is a pupil.
She added Theo was still pondering which of the dwarf rabbit offers to accept.
"We have been overwhelmed with the response. We must have had about 20 offers,'' she said.
Mrs. Augustus said pet lovers had been moved by the sight of heartbroken Theo on the front page of The Royal Gazette .
"They saw the pain in his eyes, and wanted to help him,'' she added.
Theo was left shattered after three dogs jumped in the backyard of the Cedar Park property on Saturday night, and dragged "TT'' from his hutch.
The youngster had been hoping to enter his pet in the Agricultural Show later this month.
