Massive writ still a puzzle

Michael Lionel Smith lodged the lawsuit last week, claiming exactly $6.28 billion in damages against Government and the Ministry of Transport.
A search turned up just one Michael Lionel Smith -- of 39 Friswells Road, Devonshire -- but the building is a closed down grocery.
The writ is still to be served, as the Supreme Court paperwork has not been picked up by the plaintiff.
A Transport Ministry spokesman said last night: "Until we get something from Mr. Smith, it would be better to reserve comment. We still don't know what this is all about.'' GOVERNMENT GVT
