Belco employees make the grade!
the City & Guilds International Assessors certification locally.
The City & Guilds International is the international arm of the City & Guilds of London Institute, a body of independent organisations operating under Royal Charter which offers a range of qualifications in vocational and general subjects.
The qualifications are recognised by employers around the world as evidence that the holder has the skills to do a particular job, while also providing opportunities for further education and training.
Certificates or diplomas are granted upon the successful completion of any City & Guilds course.
The six Belco employees, who received their City & Guilds International D32 Awards, are now qualified to assess the competency of the practical work of others at Belco who are in the process of obtaining City & Guilds certificates.
"Our continued commitment to the training and development of our employees puts us in the position of desiring to have the ability to use our own personnel to assess the competency of our staff through City & Guilds International,'' Belco president Garry Madeiros said.
