ACE USA forms aviation division
industry in the US. The new division, formed by ACE USA, will concentrate on airport business, including construction, manufacturers products and non-commercial aircraft.
Bermuda-based ACE bought ACE USA in January this year. As part of ACE's expansion into the US the subsidiary has grown from property and casualty to expand into specialty, warranty, directors & officers, errors & omissions, and captive reinsurance divisions.
"We are excited about this new operation, which continues our expansion into specialty areas within our industry,'' ACE USA president and chief executive officer Dennis Reding stated in a Press release.
Stephen Dinsdale has been appointed senior vice president of the new division.
He will be based in New Orleans and will oversee staff based in Los Angeles, Atlanta and New York. Mr. Dinsdale was previously at Phoenix Aviation Mangers, Inc., heading the airports and special risk division.
Clive Allen has also been appointed vice president to the Aviation Division.
Mr. Allen was previously at Phoenix as vice president specialising in airports and helicopters risks.
