The students; Paul Lennos of Warwick Academy, Spencer Wood of Saltus and Andwele Simons received their awards for dramatic improvement and skill development over the last year. Some of the areas they excelled in were advanced hand development technique, musical awareness studies, rhythmic style development and advanced feel and tempo precision.

The Bermuda Drum and Percussion Institute has been teaching and developing young drummers for over a decade.
