Fishing boat skippers honoured
following their success on the ocean last year.
Captain Russell Young of Sea Wolfe entered 118 fish on behalf of visiting anglers who received catch certificates and was presented with an engraved tray by the Department of Tourism to recognise the achievment.
Captain Allan DeSilva of Mako-4 again won the cup for the greatest number of Atlantic blue marlin -- 27 -- caught and then released during the season.
Tourism's assistant director of marketing Peter Smith presented the awards.
The programme is organised by local IGFA representative and secretary of the Bermuda Game Fishing Association, Tom Smith, who acts as fishing consultant to the Department of Tourism.
