William Henry Souster fell onto the road and his bike tumbled on top of him when he was stopped on Lover's Lane, Paget.
Souster, 38, of Middle Road, Paget, on Thursday admitted driving while impaired on April 3.
Prosecutor Sgt. Kenrick James said officers had seen him swerving from one side of the road to the other and turning into Lover's Lane without indicating.
Sgt. James said: "He brought his bike to a halt and fell off causing his cycle to fall onto him. His eyes were bloodshot and he was unsteady on his feet.'' Souster, a teacher at the Bermuda Bridge Club, failed breath tests. He was fined $400 and disqualified from driving for 12 months.
