In a poll underwritten by 3Com, and operated by the Planet Project, 52 percent of Bermudian respondents approved of their country. Ninety two percent of Canadians were proud of their country, the highest rating.

Respondents in 49 countries so far have entered the poll and Bermuda ranks 45th, ahead of Syria, Argentina, Serbia, and Romania.

The question posed is "are you proud of the country of which you are a citizen?'' and is the largest global poll ever conducted.
