Four firefighters in a truck from the Port Royal Fire Station in Southampton managed to vacuum up the water.
Rain also caused flooding at a Pembroke nursery school.
Five firefighters in a truck rushed to Woodlands Playhouse Nursery shortly before 10 a.m. after receiving a report of a flooding.
They found two ten-by-ten-foot rooms covered by a half-inch of water.
But no property damage was reported.
