Police spokesman Gary Venning said a security officer at Sonesta Beach dive shop, which is closed, noticed that a window had been broken on Thursday evening. Inquiries were underway to determine if any property had been stolen.

A dive shop on Harbour Road, Warwick was also broken into on Wednesday night.

Entry was believed to have been gained after the person broke a window.

P.c. Venning said a "small amount of cash'' was stolen.
