Bermuda Stock Exchange down more than nine points on Thursday.

The utility dropped $6.25 from $11 to $4.75 on volume of 511 shares in the first trade since June 9. It has traded as high as $12.75 this year.

Meanwhile, Bank of Butterfield closed down 25 cents to $13 on volume of 1,966.

Bermuda Broadcasting closed up 25 cents at $5.25 on volume of 173 while Belco closed unchanged at $19.875 on volume of 848.

Share volume for the day was 3,498 with a share value of $45,749.

The Exchange Index closed down 9.13 points to 1087.37.
