A collision between a van and a motorcycle at the junction of North Street and Parson's Road left the cycle rider with serious head injuries. An ambulance was called to the scene to take the rider to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where he remains in serious condition.

The Bermuda Fire Service cut the driver free from the van.
