Impaired driver fined
after he pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court.
Ian McGavern, 51, of Robin Hood Drive, was stopped by Police on Woodlands Road, Pembroke at 1.55 a.m. on May 15.
Senior Magistrate Will Francis heard that McGavern told Police: "Yeah, I was at The Beach. Can't I just drive home? I live up the hill.'' Crown counsel Lesley Basden said McGavern was convicted of the same offence in 1994.
