Many of the Sedgwick companies around the world became Sedgwick James after the company merged with Fred S. James in 1985, but now the company has decided it is time to drop `James' off the masthead.

Mr. Robert Hug, president of Sedgwick James (Bermuda) Ltd., would not disclose the new name of the Bermuda company until it has been approved by the head office. He said the change would have little or no impact on the operations of the company.
