But from next month, they should be able to register their youngsters for St.

Mark's. The pre-school will have space for 24 four-year-olds and could be expanded to take 36.

It marks a fulfilment of Education Minister the Hon. Clarence Terceira's promise to have a pre-school in every parish.

The Smith's pre-school, which is scheduled to open on January 4, will be the Island's 12th. Anyone opposing the plan has 14 days to lodge objections.
