BSX up slightly over the week
on a volume of 167,032 shares.
The bulk of trading for the week took place in the banking and utilities sections of the exchange.
At the Bank of Butterfield 39,191 shares lost five cents to close at $15.15.
The Bank of Bermuda saw 25,263 shares gain a half to close at $29. Two thousand, three hundred shares of Bermuda Commercial Bank closed unchanged at $5.
Belco shares dropped $1.25 on a volume of 30,008 ending out the week at $17.50. KeyTech Ltd. gained ground as 28,620 shares closed up 40 cents to close at $29.50.
Argus Insurance saw 2,700 shares close down a half at $16.50 while 600 BF&M 9 percent preferred shares closed down $1.50 at $7.50. A lot of 3,100 BF&M common shares went unchanged at $6.75.
There were no rises at Bermuda Bakery as 2,200 shares traded at $21.00. Ten thousand seven hundred shares of Devonshire Industries closed down a half at $7.50 and 3,100 shares of Kentucky Fried Chicken rose a half to round out the week at $5.
