Two years probation for indecent assaults
acts against two young boys last week.
The social inquiry report showed that Calvin L. Simmons, of Wefo Road, had "definite problems'', said Acting Senior Magistrate the Wor. John Judge on Thursday.
On January 31 of this year, 32-year-old Simmons was jogging with a ten-year-old boy along the Sandys Railway Trail. He stopped and told the boy to do some excercises.
The boy did so, and Simmons rubbed his groin against the boy's buttocks.
Scared, the boy ran away.
On May 26, on the same railway trail, Simmons was working on his bike and called to a nine-year-old boy to help him with the bike. When the boy approached, Simmons picked him up and abused him in the same way.
When Simmons was questioned by Police, he admitted that he had sexual feelings for young boys.
Mr. Judge ordered the probation for Simmons. His progress will be reviewed in Magistrates' Court on November 20.
