Friday, closing at $27.50 on a volume of 7,380. The only riser was Bermuda Commercial Bank, which gained one-eighth of a dollar to close at $10 on a volume of 6,700.

Trading unchanged were the Bank of Bermuda, which closed at $23, with a volume of 830; Bermuda Broadcasting, $5, 2,000; Argus Insurance, $11, 2,400; and BF&M preference stock, $12, 300.

The Exchange Index fell by 7.27 to end the day at 1,160.16.

Shares and bonds worth $1.310 million were traded during the week.
